German media group RTL Deutschland is expanding the distribution of GEO Wild.
The SVOD service for nature documentaries is now available on Amazon Prime in Germany and Austria as an Amazon Channel at www.amazon.de/channels/geowildde. In addition, there is a new ‘GEO bundle’ of GEO Television and GEO Wild.
“With the launch of GEO Wild and the simultaneous launch of the new GEO Television/GEO Wild bundle on Amazon, we are reacting to the increasing non-linear consumption. We are further expanding our programme variety with visually stunning and high-quality nature and animal documentaries and make them accessible to even more people,” said Oliver Schablitzki, Head of Multichannel at RTL Deutschland.
The pay-TV channels GEO Television, RTL Passion, RTL Living and RTL Crime are already available on Amazon Prime. With the launch of GEO Wild, RTL Deutschland completes the offer.
