Canal+ may not be able to agree on terms with TF1, but the Vivendi unit has signed a new agreement with former merger partner M6.
The multi-year distribution agreement covers free-to-air DTT channels M6, W9, 6ter, Gulli and thematic pay channels Paris Première, téva, M6 Music, Canal J, Tiji, RFM TV, MCM and their associated services and features, as well as the GulliMax SVOD service to CANAL+ subscribers
This agreement covers the continued distribution of all of Groupe M6’s channels, as well as the non-linear services and features associated with these channels within CANAL+’s offerings.
TF1 channels have been absent from Canal+ services since September 2.
