House of the Dragon has overtaken season 8 of Game of Thrones to become the most-viewed title ever on HBO SVOD services in Europe.
The prequel to the Game of Thrones series to the largest audience for any new original series in the history of HBO and the best series launch on HBO Max across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
HBO said all episodes of the series are now averaging 29 million viewers in the United States, though the broadcaster has not released any precise European numbers.

The complete first season of House of the Dragon is now available to stream on HBO Max. In Sky markets the show can be seen on Sky Atlantic.
