Roku has added improvements to its content discovery features as part of its latest software update.
Roku OS 11.5 introduces two updates to What to Watch – Continue Watching and an expanded platform-wide Save List – alongside its new content discovery experience, known as The Buzz.
The Buzz features a collection of trailers, interviews, and video clips from streaming channels. You can then choose to like or follow the items to get the latest information on the channel, its movies and shows. Content can be streamed immediately or saved to stream later.
Continue Watching, which some platforms appear to make particularly difficult, is foind in the What to Watch on Roku home screen menu; Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount+, and The Roku Channel.
There are also enhancements to Bluetooth Private Listening and Roku Voice capabilities. This makes it possible to stream from Bluetooth to the newest Roku Ultra, Roku Streambar, and Roku Streambar Pro.
Roku OS 11.5 is rolling out to supported Roku streaming players, Roku TV models, and audio devices over the coming months.
