Zattoo secures Visual Online as new customer

September 9, 2022 12.59 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Zattoo is set to announce Visual Online, one of Luxembourg’s most renowned internet and Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) service providers, as its latest new customer at IBC 2022 in Amsterdam.

The company will showcase its end-to-end white label IPTV platform, including Bridge, an analytics and monitoring suite, plus its new Start Page, Operator Shop and In-App-Messaging technologies connecting operators directly to their customers via the TV or device screen. According to the company, this underlines its positioning as a critical success factor of TV-driven customer experience for broadband customers in Europe.

With the Zattoo TV Platform, Visual Online will introduce the first TV service to its customers on a platform set to continue growing Visual Online’s business, providing key elements of a carrier-grade TV experience with features such as nPVR, 7-day catch-up, replay, instant restart and live pause. Based on Zattoo’s white label approach, the new TV service will be hosted and managed by Zattoo, while being available mobile, web-based as well as a Visual Online-branded Android TV Operator Tier set-top box.

Commenting on the development, Jörg Meyer, CCO at Zattoo, said: “We are excited to have been chosen by Visual Online to enable their TV offering. The Luxembourg market is in many ways challenging, says. “Content discovery, service monitoring and analytic functionality of Zattoo’s TV services will remain cornerstones for the success of our offering across Europe”.

Zattoo is the first certified climate-neutral TV streaming provider, and the company will also be promoting its green initiative with projects like the climate-neutral television of the future, operating a data centre in a wind turbine.

Zattoo’s full TV platform offering can be experienced at IBC Hall 5 Booth B.76 from September 9-12.
