Teleste says it’s signed a frame agreement with a major US cable broadband operator for the supply of broadband network technology in the United States.
The package includes 1.8 GHz amplifiers and Distributed Access Architecture nodes.
The first orders have already been received with product deliveries expected to commence in mid-2023.
The 1.8 GHz technology will enable end user speeds of up to 10 Gbps over existing cable network infrastructure and allows for efficient and cost-effective network upgrades.
Teleste has undertaken extensive research and development towards the CableLabs DOCSIS 4.0 specification.
