Altice’s Portuguese operator Meo has announced the launch of what it calls a “new interactive football experience” on its Meo TV service.
It is based on personalisation and includes such features as:
The possibility of following six sports broadcasts simultaneously, on the same TV screen, with the audio of the selected broadcast.
Quick access to up to 10 channels, allowing viewers to watch the channel they want in full screen and without losing sight of all the games at the same time.
Through Replay, and simultaneously with the live broadcast of football matches, viwers can access a timeline with the most relevant moments marked in real time – such as goals, dangerous shots, among other content – in a unique browsing experience interactive about live content.
The possibility to watch some games with the background sound of the stadium (without comments), or with the comments of international games in the original language.
Live results monitoring of football matches in progress, through the Meo Go app, allowing viewers to follow their favourite teams and games at all times.
The possibility of immediate subscription to premium channels via mobile, through the Meo Go app, allowing immediate access, away from home, to the most appealing content.
Meo notes that these features will be progressively made available to Meo ADSL and Fibre customers with MeoBox and customers with Meo on Android TV and Apple TV. The Meo Go features are now available to all customers of this service.
