Stringr update simplifies video production chain

August 24, 2022 12.42 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Video sourcing and production platform Stringr has unveiled a new version of its SaaS solution.

The end-to-end platform connects media companies with instant access to custom video footage, remote production software and video distribution options.

“With our SaaS Remote Video Sourcing and Production platform, we simplify every part of the video production chain; our customers can not only get custom video footage quickly, now they can also create and share video content faster than ever before,” says Lindsay Stewart, Co-founder and CEO, Stringr. “Stringr is the only real-time solution available for sourcing and sharing video. And our clients are already seeing the benefits, by being able to produce more video content without any increase in resources.”

New features include a simplified method of calling for user generated content, displaying an on-screen QR code that leads to videos being instantly added as an asset to edit, share, or use for live broadcast.

Remote Guests can now be added through a link with host and guests presented as individual feeds to switch between for live broadcasts or edit together later for a dynamic looking interview.

Remote Commenting adds remote, frame-level video commenting to collaborate and get feedback in real-time from anyone on the team.

“What makes the Stringr Remote Video Sourcing and Production platform unique is that it allows customers who are interested in hybrid or all-digital workflows to easily add our video sourcing and SaaS solution to their existing production environment,” says Brian McNeill, Co-founder and Head of Product, Stringr. “With this new platform, we enable everyone on the team, no matter where they are located, to capture, edit, approve and share video in real-time.”

The Stringr Remote Video Sourcing and Production platform can be used for developing community engagement, creating digital first content creation for web and social media and covering more locations simultaneously.
