The first CNN documentary titles have made their debut on Discovery+ in the United States.
The arrival of brands including CNN Original Series, CNN Films, and HLN Original Series are a precursor to the stated ambition of the merged Warner Bros. Discovery to provide a single streaming service where all of the media giant’s content can be accessed.
Subscribers will be able to enjoy over 800 episodes of current and library titles including Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown and United Shades of America.
In addition to the initial offering of CNN Originals available to stream, select CNN Original Series and HLN Original Series will be added to the CNN Originals hub and stream on discovery+ in the future following their linear run on the cable networks.
The expectation is that content from HBO Max will be bundled into the Discovery+ offer in the United States and internationally.
