Hungary’s 4iG strengthens management

August 19, 2022 11.06 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Hungarian info-communications group 4iG has decided on a new management structure in response to the increased tasks and the size of the company.

Effective September 1, it will see the strategic and operational management and thus the positions of president and CEO separated: Jászai Gellért will be the group’s majority shareholder and continue to manage the company group’s strategy as chairman of the board. Péter Fekete, as the CEO of the company group, and Aladin Linczényi, as the vice-chairman of the board, will help the president work and provide operational management of the 4iG group.

The business and operational processes at the 4iG group level will be managed by László Blénessy, general deputy general manager for business, and Gábor Tomcsányi, general deputy general manager for operations. The financial affairs of the group will be managed by Csaba Thurzó, deputy general manager of economics, the IT division by Tamás Tápai, deputy general manager responsible for the IT division; the telecommunications area will be managed by István Király, deputy general manager responsible for telecommunications.

Commenting on the restructuring, Jászai Gellért said: “In accordance with our acquisition strategy, we consciously built and expanded the 4iG group in recent years. Thanks to this, we have acquired a number of large companies with significant capacities that combine perfectly complementary key competences in the sector, which currently employ 6,200 employees in three countries and consist of 16 important member companies. The most important element of our operating strategy is that the member companies not only work individually, but also as a group of companies, and with greater efficiency in terms of business efficiency, supporting our further dynamic growth”.
