Zuzana Tapakova has been appointed the new marketing director at the Slovak public broadcaster RTVS, effective August 16.
Tapakova has previously hold positions at Slovak radio, GGK, BBDO and TV Markiza, where she was general director from 2010-2013. In her new role, she will take over from Richard Jaycay.
Commenting on the appointment, RTVS CEO Lubos Machaj, said: “I have already declared several times that I want to work in management with people with whom I have had good work experience from the past. I worked with Mrs. Zuzana Tapakova many years ago in Slovak Radio, later we were in working contact during her work at TV Markiza. She is, in my opinion, a person who, as one of the few on the Slovak market, knows the structure of television, is able to evaluate the output of individual formats and knows how to find new ways of marketing in external and internal communication. I am convinced that he will be a support for RTVS and a person who will move things forward”.
