The Croatian regulatory authority HAKOM has confirmed that Italy has finally removed the transmitters that have caused interference in the reception of Croatian TV signals for many years.
This follows the adoption of measures suggested by the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) in its Opinion of June 2021.
It forms part of a proposed coordinated solution and provides measures, the fulfilment of which ensures the uninterrupted operation of TV channels in the 470-694 MHz band and the uninterrupted operation of 5G in networks the 700 MHz band.
HAKOM notes that this was particularly important in the light of an auction for 5G licences in the 700 MHz band undertaken in August last year.
