Canal+ Group and La Liga have renewed their partnership, allowing the French pay-TV company to take exclusive rights for sub -Saharan Africa, Madagascar, and Mauritius.
When top-flight Spanish football renews on August 12, subscribers will be able to watch the best matches of the week from the top two divisions on the Canal+Sport channels and the Canal+ app.
There will also be behind the scenes magazine programmes and highlights of all the week’s matches.
Canal has recently renewed the rights to the Premier League and also has coverage of the Bundesliga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League and CAF competitions.
