The Greek incumbent OTE ended the second quarter with 641,578 subscribers to its TV services.
This, according to the company in its latest results, was 10.8% more than in the same period last year.
In Q2 alone, it gained 5,074 and also announced an agreement for the broadcasting rights of the leading football team of the Greek league, Olympiakos, for three years.
Also in the fixed sector, OTE continued to expand its FTTH footprint, passing 674,000 homes at the end of June.
It plans to continue speeding up FTTH deployment to reach approximately 1 million homes by the end of 2022 as targeted.
In terms of FTTH subscriber numbers, the base increased by 17,000 in the quarter to reach a total of 92,000.
OTE had revenues of €849.6 million in Q2, or 2.7% more than a year earlier.
Its adjusted EBITDA was €332.8 million (+7.2%) and adjusted profit €106.8 million (+41.6%).
