Romania’s RCS&RDS (Digi) and its subsidiary Digi Spain Telecom have obtained a loan initially worth €128 million.
According to Media Expres, quoting Forbes, they were aided by the Romanian law firm Filip & Company law and the loan is for a duration of five years. Furthermore, it supplements a facility of €132 million, concluded in July 2021.
The lender is Spain’s Banco Santander and the funds will be used to invest in state-of-the-art technology.
Broadband TV News notes that Digi has a growing presence in Western Europe, including Spain, having exited Hungary last year.
