Canal+ First, the newly launched service for the Austrian market, has signed two local cable operators.
The Vivendi-backed channel has signed Kabel-TV Lampert in Vorarlberg and via kabelplus in Lower Austria and Burgenland.
“We are very pleased that we now also have Canal+ First in our offer, especially since our customers in the west of Austria will very much appreciate the regional-European orientation of the new channel,” says Christoph Schmid, Head of Marketing and Sales at Kabel-TV Lampert.
Wolfgang Schäffer, Managing Director of kabelplus, is of the same opinion: “We are pleased to welcome Canal+ First to the kabelplus family of channels. The programme is a great enrichment for our MagicTV customers.”
kabelplus has established itself as one of the leading telecommunications providers of services for high-speed Internet, television, fixed network and mobile telephony in Lower Austria and Burgenland. Kabel-TV Lampert is one of the largest private cable network operators in Western Austria. Since 1954, customers between Feldkirch and Bludenz have been supplied with the best cable television; since 1996, also with super-fast broadband Internet.
Canal+ First includes a selection of Austrian and international series, films, documentaries, and many other exclusive contents.
