The Russian channel Dozhd (‘Rain’) TV is back on air after having been stopped from broadcasting shortly after the start of the war in Ukraine.
According to The Moscow Times, Dozhd has set up set up broadcast studios in Latvia, the Netherlands, Georgia and France. In the case of the Netherlands, it will share the studio with The Moscow Times.
It adds that the channel was granted a European licence by the Latvian regulator in June and will start as a limited operation.
Significantly, its stream will be accessible on several TV streaming services including Latvia’s Tet and HOT in Israel.
