The Hungarian entrepreneurs Peter Schatz, Agnes Adamik and Adam Gabor have sold a combined stake of over 45% in the Slovenian station NovaTV24 for an undisclosed fee.
Dnevnik reports that it has been acquired by Boris Tomasic, a long-term member of the Slovenian political party SDS, which is now in opposition.
It adds that the deal has been given consent by Slovenia’s Ministry of Culture.
The current Slovenian coalition government, which has been in office since this spring, recently launched a parliamentary investigation into the funding of Slovenian media, chiefly by Hungary.
