Vincent Grivet has been re-elected for a further two-year term as Chair of the HbbTV Association.
It follows a meeting of the industry association’s newly assembled Steering Group, which also re-elected TP Vision’s Jon Piesing as the Association’s Vice-Chair and Xavier Redon from Cellnex Telecom as Treasurer.
“It will be an honour and a pleasure to lead the HbbTV Association and Steering Group for another two years. The TV landscape is undergoing massive changes, and HbbTV is playing a key role to enable the ongoing adaptation strategy of many important players with key specifications like targeted advertising,” said Grivet.
Representatives of Digital UK, Eutelsat and Kineton were also elected to the Steering Group for the first time.
