Canal+ Sport will make its debut in the Czech Republic and Slovakia on August 4, a day before the start of the upcoming Premier League season, which will feature prominently in its schedule.
The channel will initially be available on Skylink and freeSAT in both countries, as well as Skylink for Orange TV in Slovakia.
Commenting on the channel, Ladislav ?ehacek, Canal + Luxembourg’s VP for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, said: “Behind the content of our new sports programme is an experienced team of Czech and Slovak professionals. Here you will find well-known names from the football world, but also young promising experts who, we believe, will enrich the broadcast with a new and unique look”.
He added: “We want to bring the best viewing experience and we are not afraid to deviate from established standards. This will correspond not only to the format, selection of guests and content of individual programmes, but also to the studio environments in which we will shoot”.
