Sky has signed a new agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery placing the Discovery+ app onto Sky Q boxes in Italy.
The move is in addition to the free and pay channels; Discovery Channel, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and Warner Bros on demand content already available on the platform.
Sky subscribers with either the satellite or internet versions of Sky Q will be able to access Discovery+ directly from the App section or via voice control and find a selection of discovery+ content directly in Q’s Home. In addition, subscribers will be able to receive Discovery+ for the first 12 months. A similar offer accompanied the launch of Sky+ in the UK market.

The offer, which allows discovery+ entertainment at no extra cost for the first 12 months, is also available to Sky Q subscribers who already have a discovery+ account.
