Poland’s Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) is to investigate why Cyfrowy Polsat’s pay-TV channels on the so-called fourth DTT multiplex can no longer be received by its mobile TV subscribers.
According to Presserwis, this follows the completion of the country’s transition to DVB-T2 earlier this week, with Cyfrowy Polsat decoders unable to receive TV signals in the new standard.
Quoting Witold Tomaszewski, the press officer at UKE, it adds that the regulator will base its investigation on information from subscribers.
However, he did not reveal how long the investigation will take or how it will end.
Meanwhile, Olga Zomer, the press officer at Cyfrowy Polsat, said that it will provide information about its new offer immediately as soon as it is able to do so.
