Alco de Jong has been appointed as Country Manager Benelux at M7 Group.
In this position he is responsible for the Eviso organisations in the Netherlands (including brands Canal Digitaal, Online.nl) and Belgium (TeleSat and TV Vlaanderen). De Jong succeeds Christiaan Puper, who left the company in May.
Until last year, Alco de Jong worked at Discovery Inc., where he fulfilled several creative and strategic roles. As programme director he was responsible for the introduction of TLC in the Benelux and, as managing director, he oversaw the introduction of streaming service Dplay (now Discovery+) in the Netherlands.
