Paramount’s FAST channel platform Pluto TV has reached a new milestone in France.
Pluto now has 100 channels available in the French market and is asking viewers to select the content for the 100th channel, Pluto TV 100sationnelle.
On debut, Pluto TV had just 40 channels.
Philippe Larribau-Lavigne, Paramount’s Director for France, said: “This milestone of 100 channels illustrates our ambitions for Pluto TV in France where we will have doubled our content offering in just one year. This success reflects a growing demand for simplicity and ease of access. And the pleasure of discovering, or rediscovering, comforting content that speaks to all generations and satisfies all desires.”
Pluto TV’s content is drawn from catalogues including BBC, Mediawan, New Regency, Wild Bunch, and Lionsgate. Pluto TV also draws on Paramount Global’s rich and extensive catalogue of some of the most recognized labels and franchises in the entertainment world: MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount Pictures, etc.
To pick the content for Pluto TV 100sationnelle viewers can go to a dedicated website and vote for their favourite content from a list that includes cult programmes such as Baywatch, Queen of the Universe and South Park, amongst others.
