Disney+ secures Polish distribution ahead of launch

June 12, 2022 21.36 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Disney+ will make its debut in Poland this Tuesday (June 14) exclusively in the offers of Polsat Box, Plus, Netia and Polsat Box Go.

All are part of the pay-TV and communication operator Polsat Plus Group. In Polsat Box, Disney+ will be available in TV packages starting at PLN35 (€7.6) a month, while in the L package and additional packages costing PLN100 it will be included in the offer price for the entire contract.

Meanwhile, Plus will offer Disney+ for a year in each voice and internet subscription and Netia the same in fast fixed-line internet access offers and packages with TV services.

Netia will also offer Disney+ for up to two years for a combination of three subscription services.

Polsat Box Go will include Disney+ in its new premium package, which cost a promotional PLN50 a month and includes over 100 TV channels, an extensive library of movies, series, entertainment and news programmes, as well as the Disney+ library.

As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Disney+ outlined its plans last week for its upcoming launch in 14 CEE markets on June 14.
