Christina Sulebakk has been named Nordic General Manager of Warner Bros. Discovery.
Sulebakk will be responsible for leading the Nordic operations of all the company’s channels and services, including Channel 5, Discovery+ and HBO Max.
“Christina is a terrific leader who has been instrumental in building our streaming market in Europe,” said Priya Dogra, President and Managing Director EMEA, excluding Poland. “Her knowledge of streaming, deep understanding of the business model and her local connection will make her a key player in our continued efforts in these important countries.”
Sulebakk is currently General Manager of HBO Max in EMEA, prior to that, she held several key positions within WarnerMedia as Executive Vice President, CMO and Head of Distribution, HBO Europe.

Sulebakk will report to James Gibbons, GM UK and Nordics on an interim basis until James transitions full time to his new role in APAC later in the year, when Christina will report to Priya Dogra, President and CEO EMEA, excluding Poland. Gibbons has led the Nordic business since 2020.
