Stars such as short-track speed skating world champion Elise Christie, Olympic bronze medal winner in snowboarding Billy Morgan and BMX world champion Tre Whyte, as well as teams led by former boxing world champion Anthony Joshua and Formula 1 driver Nico Hülkenberg, are taking part in the new world championship with e-scooters that can reach speeds of more than 100 km/h.

For equestrian fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, wedotv will show tournaments from the UK, Ireland, Australia and the US, including the Epsom Derby, the Royal Ascot Derby, the King George VI, Queen Elizabeth and Irish Champions Stakes, the Melbourne Cup and the Breeders Cup.

“We are proud of the new foothold we are building with attractive sports rights at wedotv. In addition to movies, series and documentaries, we are now offering even more variety with top-class sports coverage – free of charge, ad-financed and without a subscription,” said Philipp Rotermund, founder and CEO of Video Solutions AG.

Another highlight at wedotv are the weekly sports programmes with news from European and international football covering domestic leagues, teams and competitions, offering sports fans an overview of the latest happenings in the football world.

In addition, wedotv shows highlights from Formula 1, the Grand Slam tennis tournaments and the Handball Bundesliga, as well as documentaries about sports stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Tiger Woods, Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Pele, Muhammad Ali, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Ayrton Senna.
