May 30, 2022 11.51 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Disney+ will be available on Vodafone TV in Greece when the streaming service goes live on June 14th.

Vodafone TV subscribers will have access to Disney+ as part of their basic subscription, after they’ve completed a short registration form. They’ll then be able to tap onto content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic.

From June 24th, subscribers will be able to watch Rise: The History of the Antitokunbo that tells the true story of the Antetokunbo family and their journey from Greece to America and the top of world basketball.

“With this initiative, Vodafone TV expands the map of content it offers to Greek families, remaining at the forefront of entertainment services,” said commercial director of consumer products of Vodafone Greece, Quique Vivas. “This partnership is very important for us as it will enable Vodafone to combine the best connectivity services with the most important and high quality home entertainment content under one roof, making access to all home entertainment and content destinations and services easy, with a remote control, simple and convenient for everyone.”

? Vassilis Iliopoulos, Vice President and General Manager of The Walt Disney Company Greece, added: This is another exciting milestone in our long-term relationship with Vodafone Greece. We are excited about the collaboration and the fact that we will offer Vodafone TV subscribers access to the incredible list of Disney + movies, series and original content.”
