The first OTT platform offering only sports content is now operational in Ukraine.
According to Tribuna, setantasports.com offer includes APL, Bundesliga, the FA Cup, NBA, NHL, Formula 1 and UFC and costs UAH20 (€0.63) a month to receive.
However, from the start of the next football season in August this will be increased to UAH109 a month.
Quoting Bacha Malazonia of the Georgia-based Adjara Group, which acquired Setanta Sports Ukraine from its Irish owners last winter, the plan was to launch the platform in March but this was paused by the war.
Setantasports.com joins a list of OTT platforms in Ukraine that also includes Megogo, Oll.tv, Sweet.tv, Kievstar TV and DAZN.
