Poland’s leading cable operator Vectra has launched an internet service offering individual subscribers download speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
Initially available in nine cities including Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Olsztyn, it will be offered to over 220,000 households in 30 cities by the end of the year.
Commenting on the service, which uses XGS-PON 10G technology, Vectra’s president of the management board Michal Bartowiak said: “Vectra has always been looking for innovative technological solutions that enable the provision of services at a higher level, both in terms of their technical parameters and quality. Today, we are offering our customers the technology of the future – internet with a speed of up to 10 Gbps”.
