United Group’s Serbia Broadband (SBB) has provided insights into its future strategy.
In an event marking its 20th anniversary, the company said, according to N1, that it had invested over €500 million in the last decade alone and that its main goal in the future is to enter the mobile (5G) market.
This year it will increase internet speeds by 50% and make its giga network available to all its SBB subscribers.
There are currently 19 Giga cities in the country at this will increase to 35 by year’s end.
Moreover, it will start building 10 Giga networks, which will be among the fastest in Europe.
In what is its jubilee year, SBB will start its “Eonisation” project, bring the Eon app to all users.
Furthermore, the first 10,000 will receive the Eon Smart Box and Eon Connect.
All told, SBB will invest over €240 million over the next three years.
