Poland’s leading mobile operator Play ended the first quarter with 293,000 subscribers to its fixed Play Now TV and broadband services.
This, according to the company in its latest results, was 81% more than in the same period last year.
All told, it reached the landmark figure of 16 million subscribers for its fixed and mobile services. Total revenues amounted to PLN1.77 billion (€380.6 million) and EBITDal PLN838 million.
Broadband TV News notes that Play is owned by France’s iliad, which closed the acquisition of UPC Polska from Liberty Global in April.
