The Estonian national transmission company has ended the temporary FTA transmission of the Russian language channel 3+ and Russian language version of Euronews.
In a statement, it said that “as the demand for Russian-language television content grew since the Russian-Ukrainian war, we added both channels to FTA distribution. From now on, the need for information will be met by other free-distribution channels”.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, it added 3+ to the list of FTA channels available in Estonia at the beginning of April, bringing the total to eight.
