Stefana Zdravkova has been appointed CEO of Nova Broadcasting Group (NBG) in Bulgaria.
The move will allow Dirk Gerkens, who has served as CEO since November 2021, to resume his duties as media director for programming, production and advertising sales in United Media and executive chairman of NBG.
Zdravkova has served for the past three years as CEO on Net Info, one of Bulgaria’s leading digital media companies. During that time, her achievements included the continuous growth of the key products avb.bg and nova.bg. She was also a key person of digital transformation projects in NBG.
Prior to joining Net Info, she held several managerial positions including, most recently, country manager of eMAG in Bulgaria from 2016 until December 2018.
Commmenting on the appointment, Victoriya Boklag, United Group chief executive, said: “We welcome Stefana in her new role, recognising her contribution to the company’s goals in her previous position. Zdravkova officially took up her new role at NBG on May 13.
