ANGA COM restart attracts 18,000

May 14, 2022 09.40 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Delegates enjoy the ANGA Night party on the Rhein Terrace.

The return of ANGA COM after a two-year break brought in 90% of the numbers seen when the broadband exposition was last held in 2019.

More than 18,000 participants attended the Köln Messe alongside 390 exhibitors from 33 countries. The organisers say the numbers exceeded expectations describing the figures as “absolutely outstanding compared to other international trade shows”.

A number of new areas of interest emerged including the development of fibre, DOSCIS 4.0 and connectivity. There were also conversations around streaming, OTT and AppTV.

“These were three intense days of reunion, inspiration and joie de vivre, for which we worked long and hard under difficult conditions,” said ANGA Managing Director Dr. Peter Charissé: “After we all did not know for a long time whether we would experience such an event again, we are overwhelmed about the brilliant comeback. The excellent key figures are one thing, but I was even more pleased with the fantastic vibe among the exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors.”

ANGA COM 2023 will take place from 23 to 25 May 2023 in Cologne.
