OTE maintains steady growth

May 13, 2022 11.55 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Greek incumbent OTE ended the first quarter with 636,504 subscribers to its TV services, or 10.2% more than a year earlier.

In the first quarter alone, it gained 12,309 TV customers. In its latest set of results, the company says that the continued growth in the TV base is thanks to its streaming platform and attractive content portfolio.

OTE Group, which also has a mobile operation in Romania, had total revenues of €825.3 million in Q1, up 4.7% on the same period in 2021.

Its adjusted EBITDA was €325.3 million (+8%) and net profit before tax €171.8 million, up €23.3 million from Q1 2021.
