Sung Sik Choi has been appointed the new CEO of LG Electronics’ Hungarian subsidiary and with responsibility for regional operations in 10 other CEE countries.
Choi began his career at LG more than 20 years ago and has held several leadership positions in the company’s consumer electronics business. In his new role he will aim to further strengthen the brand’s dominant position in key segments such as premium OLED-led consumer electronics and high-end home appliances, and to further expand the range of innovative products available in the region, including the IT devices market. Choi will rely on the expertise and experience of local offices and a well-functioning service support system in the region.
Aside from Hungary, he will oversee Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
