The Czech broadcaster TV Nova has launched a new HbbTV application named Social TV.
According to Parabola, it allows users to collect photos from Instagram and see them directly on a TV screen.
Quoting Iva Dohnalkova, HbbTV business development manager at TV Nova, it adds that HbbTV is now one of the fastest growing technologies in the Czech Republic, with over 2.4 million viewers.
TV Nova expanded its HbbTV service this March with the introduction of an app that gives access to the Nova Lady TV channel to those that cannot receive it in any other way, such as via DTT or DTH.
This year it also added a feature named TV Live covering the war in Ukraine.
