One of Germany’s leading commercial broadcasters says its business model is demonstrating resilience against the Russia-Ukraine war, ongoing pandemic and cost of living crisis.
ProSiebenSat.1 reported growth in group revenues of 2% to €954 million with advertising the main driver. While acknowledging the uncertainties around the war, the group is not anticipating any downturn in its fortunes.
Rainer Beaujean, Group CEO of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE said: “Our good start to the year once again proves that we are on the right track with our strategy”.
The company has confirmed its projection for 2022 of an adjusted EBITDA in the region of €840 million.
