Ocilion will be able to offer network operators in Germany and Austria the entire free- and pay-TV channel portfolio of ProSiebenSat.1 in HD quality.
The Austrian IPTV service provider concluded a multi-year partnership with Seven.One Entertainment Group for the distribution of all free-TV and pay-TV channels of the German media company. The contract covers linear distribution as well as additional rights such as pause/play, instant restart, catch-up TV, network recording (nPVR) and in-home streaming.
“Our claim is and always has been to offer network operators a full, technically perfectly pre-integrated turnkey IPTV total solution. This also includes licence agreements with the major broadcasting groups. Through our partnership with Seven.One Entertainment Group, we can now provide our customers in Austria and Germany with the company’s entire channel portfolio in brilliant HD quality, including all attractive additional functions for time-shifted television,” said Hans Kühberger, Managing Director of Ocilion.
