Over 2,300 German radio stations are now available on the Sky Q in Germany following the integration of the local version of the RadioPlayer app.
To start with, RadioPlayer is only available on Sky Q IP receivers, though there are plans to launch on ‘regular’ Sky Q receivers as well as the Sky Glass TV.
In the UK, RadioPlayer is already on Sky Glass, though not yet on Sky Q.
Max Ehrhardt, Director Proposition & Product at Sky Deutschland: “With the integration of the RadioPlayer app, we offer our customers the entire German radio landscape, which adds an additional component to our entertainment offering. We are showing that we take customer wishes seriously and are constantly optimising our offer.”
All of the most popular public and commercial stations in Germany are available, including many regional and genre-related broadcasters. The most listened to stations can be saved as favourites.
