Movistar launches flexible offer

May 4, 2022 10.54 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Telefónica’s Movistar has launched a customisable and flexible offer for its customers.

Known as miMovistar, it initially adds services such as health, gaming and home security to connectivity and TV, with other features such as energy and finance to be added at a later date.

According to the Spanish operator, it is a natural evolution of Movistar Fusión, which has been Movistar’s reference product for the last 10 years. It will become an ecosystem where customers can build and manage everything they need for their lives, with such features as myConnectivity, myEntertainment, myFinances or myHome, and myWellbeing. The portfolio, always modular, is based on connectivity (internet, voice and data) to which, if the client wishes, modules can be added that include a TV content offer and value-added services.

Commenting on the new offer, Emilio Gayo, president of Telefónica Spain, said: “10 years ago we launched an integrating proposal for the communication and content services that the market demanded and that became the leading format for the communications offer. And we designed it after listening intensively to our customers. Since then, the market has been transformed and we have adapted to it and continue to do so today.

“We continue to deepen our offer diversification strategy and a commercial strategy that responds to the current demands of customers, offering them a value proposition that gives them the power to choose to make their lives easier and better”.
