The Apple Music app has launched on the Roku platform globally.
The manufacturer says Apple Music will be available on Roku devices including Roku streaming players, Roku TV models, and Roku premium audio products like the Roku Streambar Pro.
Apple Music subscribers can access the app with their existing log-in credentials. Roku users can access over 90 million songs and 30,000 expert-curated playlists. Music videos can also be watched in 4K on compatible devices.
It’s not the first time Apple Music has been available on a streaming platform; it’s been present on Amazon’s Fire TV for the past 3 years.
Roku users can sign-up for Apple Music today through the Roku channel store for a 1-month free trial. After the trial, Apple Music plans are available for purchase starting at the regular $9.99 per month.
Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Music, TuneIn and Vevo are among the music services already available on the Roku platform.
