The Czech national transmission company CRa has appointed Martin Cepek to the newly created position of director of broadcasting.
Cepek has many years of experience in the media industry. He was at HBO Czech and Slovak Republic for 15 years, working his way up to the position of managing director. He briefly led pay-TV at TV Nova and for eight years belonged to the top management of TV Prima, where he was responsible for business development.
At CRa, he will be in charge of strengthening and developing broadcasting activities. He will focus mainly on developing innovations, expanding business activities and strengthening services to CRa’s partners and customers.
Commenting on the appointment, CRa’s CEO Vit Vazan said: “The world of media and television is undergoing a very rapid and dynamic development. That is why we are strengthening the team dedicated to broadcasting, so that we can develop and prepare new services and opportunities for existing and new clients and partners at this fast pace.
“Martin Cepek is a very experienced media manager and I am convinced that together we will fulfill the ambitions we have in the field of broadcasting”.
