The Ukrainian channel Ukraina 24 will shortly have a broadcasting facility in Poland.
According to Warsaw Voice, work on the partial transfer of the channel to Poland are at an advanced stage, with a start date as soon as next month possible.
It adds that the facility, staffed by Ukrainian employees, will produce programmes in Ukrainian and English. However, it may also employ Polish technical staff and produce Polish language content at some stage in the future.
Ukraina 24 will use its Ukrainian broadcasting licence and is already widely distributed in Poland by – amongst others – Polsat, Vectra, UPC Polska and Play.
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it has also secured distribution in several other countries across Europe.
