Orange’s revenues in Q1 were 0.7% higher than in the same period last year thanks to its performance in African and the Middle East.
The company’s latest results show that its total revenues in the first quarter were €10,582 million (€10,511 million), with its non-European operations growing revenues by 8.7% year-on-year. EDITDal was 1% higher at €2,620 million. In France, Orange’s revenues fell by 0.7%, while in Spain they were down by 4.6%.
Orange notes that it is consolidating its leadership in convergence, with 11.6 million customers across Europe.
In France, over half of its fixed-line customers are now connected to the group’s fibre network.
