The DTH and IPTV operator Skylink is planning to launch a new channel named Canal+ Sport in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at the beginning of August.
Furthermore, according to Jaromir Glisnik, a member of the board of M7 Group, speaking in a wide-ranging interview with Parabola, it is preparing to launch several more channels as well as a rich video library with attractive content.
In doing so, it is “inspired by Canal+’s operations in other countries. Canal+ Sport’s debut will coincide with the start of the new Premier League season on August 6.
Glisnik also said it channels under the Canal+ brand will be offered to other operators in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Furthermore, he revealed that Skylink is considering withdrawing +1 channels from its offer as they can already be watched in its seven-day catch-up service.
