The global OTT streaming service DAZN is set to increase its subscription fee five-fold in Poland.
According to sport.pl, the service, which entered the Polish market in December 2020, initially charged PLN7.99 (€1.72) a month but this will now rise to PLN39.99.
It adds that while viewers in other countries are offered leading football leagues – in Italy, for instance, they can watch Serie A – for those in Poland the leading events on DAZN include boxing bouts.
Indeed, to watch the Champions League Polish viewers have to subscribe to Polsat Sport Premium, while Bundesliga fans require Viaplay, Serie A Eleven and The Polish and English Premier Leagues Canal+.
