Cloud video specialist Blackbird has been nominated for a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2022.
The Award was approved by Her Majesty The Queen following a recommendation from the prime minister.
Overseas sales have grown by 314% over the past three years and now account for over 7-% of the company’s total revenues. Revenues are growing fastest in North America Blackbird has contracts with organisations including the National Hockey League, A+E Networks, Univision and the US State Department. In Europe there are high-profile contracts with BT, Sky News Arabia, Eurovision Sport and National Rugby League.
Blackbird CEO, Ian McDonough, said the company was “incredibly honoured” by the Award.
