Salto teams up with Amazon Prime

April 13, 2022 12.13 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The French streaming platform Salto has entered into a long-term partnership with Amazon Prime Video.

Under it, starting from May, millions of Amazon Prime members will be able to access Salto directly on Prime Video Channels for €6.99 a month.

Commenting on the partnership, Thomas Follin, CEO of Salto, said: “The provision of the Salto platform within Prime Video is a new step taken which should make it possible to accelerate our development via OTT and to further increase our visibility while very significantly enriching the French offer accessible directly to Amazon Prime members. Thanks to this partnership, Salto and Prime Video together provide a response that meets the new expectations and habits of the French public”.

Salto notes that a first agreement had already been concluded between the two companies, allowing access to Salto on Amazon Fire TV Cube or Fire TV Stick/Lite/4K streaming media players, as well as voice control associated with Alexa.
